APANJ President Renee White Steps Down After Successful 4 Years as President, and 20 Years Serving the APANJ
Effective today, I will be stepping down as President of the APANJ to devote more time to my family. It has been the distinct honor of my professional career to serve as your President. I have been affiliated with APANJ leadership since my hire date in 2006 as I led the effort to pass legislation regarding outside employment, which was a groundbreaking success due to members like you. I look back on everything we have accomplished together with immense pride and gratitude. While a member of our e-board, we were able to reopen our pension, implement our retirement boot camp training (NOVA), host statewide resiliency trainings and a mélange of CLE events and introduce parity legislation (S1415). Our collective dedication to justice, professionalism, and supporting the prosecution community across New Jersey has truly strengthened our association.
I am thrilled to announce that current APANJ Vice President Gary Donatello (Bergen) will be stepping into the role as your new President. Having worked closely alongside Gary, I know firsthand his deep commitment to our mission and his advocacy for APs throughout the state. I am confident that the APANJ will thrive and reach new heights under his guidance.
Thank you all for your support, your hard work, and your dedication during my tenure. I hope and pray that I have served you all well over the past 20 years. It is now time for newer members to join our ranks, rally our cause and advance into leadership roles. Please join me in giving Gary a warm welcome as he takes on this new chapter. Finally, thank you all for doing the incredible work you do, for choosing a career in prosecution and for keeping the best state in the union safe for its residents.
With endless gratitude,
Renee White
Outgoing President, APANJ
